Clustify ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is a client-side Chrome Extension designed to help users manage their Gmail inboxes by bulk-trashing unwanted emails based on custom keywords or AI-generated labels. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data remains secure.
To function, Clustify requests the following Google OAuth permissions:
identity: To authenticate you with your Google account.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify: To read email metadata (specifically subject lines for the preview feature) and to move emails to your Trash bin or apply labels.Clustify operates 100% locally within your web browser.
If you choose to use the AI Auto-Label feature, your provided label name (e.g., "Travel Receipts") is sent directly from your browser to the Groq API using your personally provided API key to generate keyword suggestions. Your actual emails are never sent to the AI.
Clustify's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify users by updating the extension in the Chrome Web Store and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
